Minor Electrical Work in Everett, WA

Outlets, switches, light fixtures, and ceiling fans installed safely and to code.

Minor electrical work is one of the most common things homeowners put off, because it feels risky to call someone out for two outlets. But loose receptacles, flickering switches, and improperly installed fixtures are also a leading cause of house fires, so it is worth doing properly.

We replace outlets and switches, install light fixtures and ceiling fans (including fan-rated boxes where required), add dimmers, install under-cabinet lighting, and swap out old receptacles for tamper-resistant or GFCI-protected ones where code requires.

We do not do panel work, service upgrades, new circuit runs that require a permit, or anything that involves working inside the electrical panel. For those we bring in our licensed electrical partner — we will tell you clearly which side of the line your job falls on.

Frequently asked questions

What is included in minor electrical?

Replacing existing devices on existing circuits: outlets, switches, fixtures, fans, dimmers, and low-voltage items. New circuits and panel work are excluded.

Do you install ceiling fans?

Yes, including installing a fan-rated brace box if the existing box is not rated for fan loads — which is common and important.

Is a permit needed?

Device replacement on existing circuits generally does not require one. New circuits and panel changes do, and we refer those out.

How much does it cost?

Most single-fixture jobs run $150 to $350 including labor and standard materials.
