Siding repair and full replacement — fiber cement, engineered wood, and vinyl, installed with proper flashing and rain screen.
Siding is your home's raincoat, and in the Pacific Northwest that matters more than almost anywhere in the country. Water that gets behind siding and cannot drain or dry will rot the sheathing behind it. That is why we install with a proper weather-resistive barrier, correct flashing at every penetration, and a drainage gap wherever the material calls for it.
We replace damaged sections, repair storm and impact damage, and do full re-sides on older Everett homes where the original siding has reached the end of its life. We work with fiber cement (Hardie and similar), engineered wood, vinyl, and wood siding.
Before we quote a re-side, we look at what is behind the existing siding. If there is rot in the sheathing or framing, you need to know that up front rather than discovering it halfway through the job.

Partial repairs are usually a few hundred to a few thousand dollars depending on area. Full re-sides typically run $9 to $18 per square foot installed, with fiber cement at the higher end and vinyl at the lower end.
Fiber cement 30 to 50 years, engineered wood 20 to 30 with maintenance, vinyl 20 to 30. The bigger factor is whether it was installed with a proper rain screen and flashing.
Usually yes, either with the same product or a close profile match. Faded siding will not match exactly, so on visible walls we sometimes recommend doing a full elevation.
Always, before quoting, and again as siding comes off. We tell you what we find and what it costs to fix before continuing.
